Their are different types of stressors, and the founder of chiropractic, DD Palmer, referred to these types as thoughts, traumas, and toxins. In other words: physical stressors, chemical stressors, and emotional stressors.

In your body this can result in a vertebral subluxation (VS). VS results in improper function and incoordination within the body, which further weakens it. This makes it so your body isn’t able to adapt as well as it should, which puts the threshold for a blown fuse even lower.
Listen, your body is super strong and resilient. It can adapt to a LOT, but it does have its limits. A healthier body is able to adapt better to stressors, and in turn, can handle more stressors. You create a healthier body with your habits and choices. Eating whole, natural foods makes it stronger. Getting 8+ hours of sleep each night makes it healthier. Moving your body daily makes it more adaptable. Getting adjusted by a chiropractor regularly makes it function optimally.
