Membership chiropractic is rare. In fact, ChiroPure is the only membership chiropractor in Concord, NC. I’m often asked by members why I chose to set up my practice differently; why membership chiropractic?

The answer is that it just makes sense. When I was in school I knew I wanted to have a cash practice; I didn’t want to deal with insurance, in any form, at all. Insurance doesn’t make sense for chiropractic. Insurance is there for emergencies. Think of insurance for anything else: car, house… you have insurance for those to cover you if there is a disaster. Car insurance covers you in the case of an accident; it doesn’t cover routine maintenance like oil changes, tires, or tune-ups. It’s there for an emergency like an accident.

Likewise, your home insurance is there for disasters. Flooding, fire, hail or sudden rain damage… Why do we think health insurance should be any different? Health insurance is there for emergencies: broken bones, accidents, and acute injury types of care. It was not designed for routine maintenance issues, but for some reason most people have come to feel that it should.

Chiropractic care is never an emergency. Chiropractic should be used like any other thing that is good for you: healthy diet, exercise, quality sleep… you get the most out of these things if you use them on a consistent and regular basis. Healthy lifestyle habits are good for you whether you’re are already a healthy individual, or you have health problems. Everyone benefits from eating whole, nutrient dense foods. Everyone benefits from getting regular exercise. Everyone benefits from getting quality sleep. Everyone benefits from having their spine checked on a regular basis.

The purpose of chiropractic is to locate, analyze, and correct vertebral subluxation. Subluxations are tiny misalignments in the spine which interfere with normal nerve impulses. This creates an environment of dis-harmony and un-coordination within the body. A body that is not working in coordination and harmony, no matter what the level of dis-harmony may be, is going to get weaker. A weak body, over time, becomes a sick body. Let it be sick long enough, and great problems arise.

The best thing to do would be to keep your body running in tip-top shape all the time. Feed it well, move it well, rest it well, and most importantly, keep it working in coordination and harmony. The spine (brain and spinal cord) is the control center for every single function in your body. It controls and coordinates EVERYTHING. Right now your body is taking the last meal you ate, breaking it down, and transforming it into living blood and tissue, and you never have to think about it. Your spine takes care of it all!

When your spine is in great condition it sets the foundation for the rest of your body to be in great condition. It’s as simple as that, and it’s the reason why I chose to provide membership chiropractic in Concord, NC. Membership allows entire families to reap the benefits of regular chiropractic care. Chiropractic is for everyone, and everyone deserves the same level of care that I personally receive. I have my spine checked 2x per week on average, not because I’m broken or there is anything wrong with me, but because I want to build and maintain the strongest, healthiest body I can.

You deserve the same, your neighbor does, our community does… What if you don’t live in Concord, Kannapolis, Harrisburg, Charlotte, or Huntersville? Where can you find affordable chiropractic? I linked a map below that has membership chiropractors listed throughout the world; hopefully one of them is near you. If you are looking for a chiropractor in: Concord, NC; Kannapolis, NC; Harrisburg, NC; Charlotte, NC; or Huntersville, NC then ChiroPure is likely a great fit for you, but I digress.

I do membership chiropractic because it is simple, and it allows folks to get the same level of care that I do. It allows entire families to have their spines checked on a regular basis, so they can function at a higher potential, and that potential can radiate out into every aspect of their life. That’s huge. We don’t do insurance because it isn’t meant for “health” care; it’s meant for sick/emergency/acute care. I want to help people stay healthy, be healthy from this day forward. I want people to invest in their life and health, and I happened to come across a really great method for allowing people to do that.

Until next time,

Dr. Jen
